I have posted a basic itinerary of what where we plan to be on what day in January and February. We're hanging pretty loose so we may or may not stick to this itinerary exactly. Only the days where there are flights involved are we obligated to follow the plan.
JANUARY
1st- Happy New Year (say goodbye to Cusco, update blog with itinerary) 1
2nd- Bus to Copacobana, Bolivia 2
3rd- Copacobana, Bolivia
4th- Bus to La Paz, Bolivia 3
5th- La Paz, Bolivia
6th- Bus to Arica, Chile 4
7th- Arica, Chile
8th- Arica, Chile
9th- Bus to Arequipa, Peru 5
10th- Colca Canyon (near Arequipa)
11th- Colca Canyon
12th- Fly to Iquitos, Peru 6
13th- Iquitos
14th-22nd- Amazon River, Tri-Border (Peru, Columbia, Brazil), Amazon Jungle 7
23rd- Iquitos
24th- Fly to Lima (girls go back to Cusco, I head solo for Ecuador) Night bus to Trujillo 8
25th- Trujillo, Peru 9
26th- Trujillo, Peru w/ Night bus to Tumbes, Peru
27th- Tumbes, Peru - bus to Guayaquil, Ecuador 10
28th- Guayaquil, Ecuador 11
29th- Bus to Quito, Ecuador 12
30th- Quito *rest*
31st- Fly to Baltra, Galapagos Islands 13
FEBRUARY
1st-4th- Galapagos Islands
5th-7th- Rest in Quito, Ecuador 14
8th-16th- Tour Ecuador with tour group (led by Uncle Ted and joined by mom, dad, aunts, uncles, grandma and others)
17th- Fly home to Salt Lake City!
